Following Leicester City’s narrow loss at Hull City, captain Wes Morgan says his side are looking forward to returning to King Power Stadium to take on Arsenal on Saturday.
Having been beaten 2-1 at the KCOM Stadium last weekend, the Foxes will make their first home appearance of the season against Arsene Wenger’s outfit.
A sold out King Power Stadium awaits Morgan’s men, and the City skipper says his outfit are aiming to impress against one of only two sides to beat the Foxes in the Premier League last term.
Speaking to LCFC TV after the clash with Hull, Morgan said: “Hull are a good team and played well – they showed their qualities. It was our first game, but we don’t want to carry this on moving forward.
“We need to put things right early, look forward to the next game and get a result there. We’re at our home ground and we want to put on a good display.
“Most importantly, we want to go back to winning ways and do what we do best, which is go out there, give 100 per cent and pick up some wins.”
Morgan says his side will learn from their defeat to Hull, and believes the best way to respond is by again giving their all against the Gunners in their next outing.
He added: “We’re obviously disappointed because we were second best throughout. We did have our chances, but it wasn’t meant to be, so we have to learn from this defeat.
“The first half was pretty tight. We were back and forth in possession and no one was really creating too many chances. We were disappointed to go behind, but we did create again after that.
“In the second half, we came out and had a great start, but I felt we just didn’t kick on from there. We dropped off and Hull were in the ascendancy and looked confident. We need to learn from our errors and put it right for the next game.”
