Chelsea started the second half terribly, but a slew of changes from Conte, and a formation change or seven did the trick.  Chelsea's second goal may have come via a penalty kick, but the Blues were the better team in the second half by a decent margin.  Oscar put the gloss on with a nice finish for a late third. Next up will be Werder Bremen on Sunday in Germany, and then the real football shall start. Any guesses for the second half formation?  It was definitely 4-1-4-1 for a while (Batshuayi lone forward, Hazard left wing, Kante holding).  But then Oscar played much more forward than Fabregas (4-2-3-1?).  Then Azpilicueta was bombing forward suddenly, leaving three back with Kante shielding. ...

Borussia Dortmund have fined Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for his masked celebration in the 1-1 derby draw at Schalke on Saturday, with the club telling ESPN FC: "We've had a good talk with Auba." LONDON -- Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has dismissed suggestions that Erik Lamela could leave, saying it is "impossible" for the winger to think of moving clubs while he recovers from injury. Lamela has been linked with a return to Italy since he joined Spurs from Roma for £30 million in 2014, and the rumours have increased while he has been sidelined with a hip problem since October. The Argentina international will have surgery in Barcelona on Saturday -- described by Pochettino as a "last resort" to get him fit. Since he last played, Lamela has spent time in his home city of Buenos Aires on compassionate leave and in Rome, where he was treated for the hip problem at his former club.
