Fabregas denies fighting with Conte
Cesc Fabregas has sensationally denied falling out with manager Antonio Conte after reports emerged he had fallen out with the Italian and would be sold.
The former Arsenal captain has been left out of Chelsea’s starting lineup in their opening three Premier League games, and has only come off the bench in the win against Watford.
With reports circulating he has fallen out with Conte prompting his lack of action this season, the Spain midfielder has taken the step to deny such reports.
The 29-year-old wrote on Twitter: “Contrary to what has been written, the manager and I have a good relationship and he has NEVER told me that I can leave.
“He said that he counts on me, as I count on him.
“I will continue to fight for this club until the very end and when called upon I will always give my very best.
“I’m fully committed to @ChelseaFC and my only goal is to help them win football matches.”
Fabregas had also previously denied falling out with former manager Jose Mourinho on Twitter.
Mourinho departed the club after a poor start to the season combined with publicly falling out with then club doctor Eva Carneiro – despite winning the Premier League the season prior.
