Joe Hart is due to arrive at Torino despite interest from Sunderland because he wanted to play abroad, according to Sky sources.
Hart is due at Torino's training ground at 2pm on Tuesday ahead of a season-long loan move.
Sunderland - who have lost injured first-choice goalkeeper Vito Mannone for three months - were prepared to pay a large slice of his wages but Manchester City have agreed to Hart's preferred option.
