John Stones on brink of signing for Manchester City - Sky sources

UEFA have included John Stones in Manchester City's Champions League squad for the new season, even though the player has not yet been signed from Everton
The news comes after Stones was named in Manchester City's Champions League squad, according to UEFA's official website.
UEFA confirmed: "The squad had to be submitted before midnight last night, and that was the squad we received from City.
A source at City admitted to Sky Sports News HQ that the incident was an administrative error, a "huge embarrassment" and a "right royal mess".
Newly-appointed City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed the club's interest in bringing the Everton and England centre-back to the Etihad Stadium.
City are set to play Romanian club Steaua Bucharest in the Champions League play-off round first leg on August 16.

The UEFA deadline for City to submit their squad for the play-off tie was midnight (CET) on Monday night and the Everton defender has appeared on the 21-man list with a squad number of 24.
Samir Nasri, Wilfried Bony and Eliaquim Mangala do not appear on the squad list with all three players reportedly on the way out of the club.
