Swansea City have announced that goalkeeper Kristoffer Nordfeldt has officially signed a new four-year contract with the English Premier League side.
Nordfeldt, who's been second-choice to Lukasz Fabianski since joining the club, looks set to leave on loan after putting pen to paper on a deal that will expire in the summer of 2020.

The Sweden international has featured only four times since making the move from Eredivisie outfit Hereenveen and will most likely seek a loan option in order to regain match fitness to challenge Fabianski.
"I am happy to have signed," he told the club's website. "To be fair I didn't play that much last year and for the club to give me this deal shows a big commitment.
"I am happy with the confidence the club have shown in me and I hope I can pay it back. Everybody knows the situation with Lukasz at the moment – he is doing well.

"It has been tough for me, but I will keep fighting and pushing to get the spot and hopefully that motivates him to keep sharp as well."
Nordfeldt says the new deal gives him confidence as it proves the club consider him as a future number one goalkeeper at the club over the next few seasons.
"They are not only looking short term but long term as well, and they understand I need to keep developing if, sooner or later, I am going to be ready to be No. 1 at Swansea."
