Leroy Sane looks set for medicals at Manchester City with German Club, Schalke 04 already confirming his unavailability for their Austrian pre-season camp; adding that the player has travelled to Manchester.
Already seen in Manchester by the preying eyes of newsmen, it is looking like Sane’s move to Manchester City is edging closer to completion.
The 20-year-old is widely reported to cost City an initial £31m transfer fee.
Manager Pep Guardiola confirmed last week that the club have been working on a move for Sane, who scored eight goals in 33 Bundesliga appearances last season.
It now seems that a transfer will be announced in the coming days after Sane’s club confirmed that he will not be travelling with the squad for a pre-season trip to Austria.
The tweet read: “Leroy #Sane is currently in Manchester and will not be travelling with #Schalke to the training camp.”
