Coutinho praises Mane impact

1022.6666666666666x767__origin__0x0_Sadio_Mane1 Liverpool playmaker Phillipe Coutinho has lauded the impact new signing Sadio Mane has had on the club’s attacking play since his arrival from Southampton.
Coutinho spent much of the match on the bench as the Reds made short work of reigning Premier League Champions and recorded a 4-1 win to mark the opening of the new main stand at Anfield last weekend.

Mane had a hand in three of Liverpool’s four goals and has really impressed the Brazilian.

The midfielder was asked what Mane had contributed to the team in an interview on the club’s official website and replied: “A lot, he’s a fantastic player.
“He’s very quick, he’s got very good feet, so that helps us to create a lot of chances to score – not just him but as we saw in the game, Daniel [Sturridge], Firmino, Lallana up there too.”
Liverpool look a different team when Mane is on the pitch but Coutinho is happy with the depth of the squad Jurgen Klopp has to call on.
“The manager has a lot of options to choose from,” he said.
“Everyone’s been working hard in training, so for sure, it’s good for the manager to have options to choose from, and it’s good for Liverpool.”
