Guardioala, Conte battle Mourinho for EPL Award

Pep Guardiola and Antonio Conte have been listed alongside Jose Mourinho for the maiden Premier League Manager of the month Award.
The three managers have enjoyed a flawless start to life with their respective teams in the Premier League; winning all their matches so far.
At least one of those records will come to an end in the next round of fixtures when City travel to Old Trafford for the Manchester derby on Sep. 10.
Also listed for the August Manager of the Month is Hull City’s Mike Phelan whose team despite the tough challenges have registered the best start ever by the Tigers in their top flight history.
For the players’ category, the quartet of Raheem Sterling, Eden Hazard,  Antonio Valencia of Manchester United, and Hull City’s Curtis Davies are the nominees.
Each Premier League captain has a vote for who should win the award, alongside a panel made up of former footballers and managers with a decision set to be announced on Sept. 9.
