Manchester derby: Mark Clattenburg will be at the center
Mark Clattenburg has been named match day referee for the Manchester derby on Saturday at Old Trafford.
The match will be the first time Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho come up against each other in England. Both managers have an interesting history during their time in Spain as coach of Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.
Clattenburg who has officiated major finals like the UEFA Champions League final and FA Cup will be assisted by Jake Collin and Steve Bennett while Mike Dean will act as fourth official.
Mourinho have some injury headaches ahead of the Manchester derby as full backs Antonio Valencia is ruled out while Luke Shaw is doubtful after he pull-out of the England squad for the game against Slovakia in the 2018 World Cup qualifier.
Guardiola will miss the services of star forward Sergio Aguero who was suspended after an elbow incident against West Ham.
Manchester United had the better of City last season but both sides have started the season with 100% records after they won their three games so far.
