N'Golo Kante nearly drove me out of Chelsea - Matic

Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic has revealed that he nearly quit Stamford Bridge following the arrival of N’Golo Kante from Leicester City this summer.
Matic struggled with loss of form last season and also had problems with injuries which led to him being benched by Super Eagles Captain Mikel Obi in the second half of the season.
However, it was the arrival of French star Kante that gave the Serbia international a real scare as he feared new manager Antonio Conte with pump him out of the team but so far he has played a key role in the club's 100% start to the 2016/17 premier league season.
"To be honest I spoke with [Conte]," he told Sky Sports. "I spoke with the club and we both decided that it was best for the club and for me to stay.
"I'm very happy because I'm now here with this team and this club. I will give my best and all my quality to help the team to challenge for the title.
"As I said, I'm very happy to be here. I want to improve my game and I'm sure Conte is the right coach to do that."
Matic is expected to be in Chelsea’s line-up when they travel to Wales to face Swansea City on Sunday.
