PSG 1–1 Arsenal: Sanchez cancels Cavani’s 42nd sec. goal

It was a gruelling night of football in the UEFA Champions League and the presence of Star Larger Beer was felt as two power houses in the European scene Paris Saint German and Arsenal treated fans to a spectacular game inside the prestigious Parc des Princes.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger gave a start to Nigerian youngster Alex Iwobi alongside Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Mesut Ozil behind false nine Alexis Sanchez while Unai Emery gave a champions league debut to new arrival Grzegorz Krychowiak who played behind Edinson Cavani.
The game started on a fantastic fashion as the home side raced into an early lead when the former Napoli striker Cavani powered in a header from a cross by Ivorian star Serge Aurier in the 42 second minute.
It was a rude shock for the Gunners who are unbeaten in their previous visits to France and that sprung them into action as they poured forward for the equalizer.
However, it was the home side that had the next opportunity as former Real Madrid and Manchester United winger Angel di Maria who sent in a vicious, inswinging delivery from a corner but David Ospina had to react smartly to save.
PSG nearly made it 2-0 as Cavani picked up a loose ball, took it past Ospina but scuffs his shot and puts the ball wide which was a huge let-off for the Gunners as they were outclassed in the first half.
Arsenal began the second half with a better tempo and kept possession better but it was again, PSG that created the better scoring opportunity as Rabiot and Cavani one two left the Uruguayan with an opportunity but Ospina made yet another save.
Arsenal finally had a breakthrough and capped their efforts with a goal from star man Alexis Sanchez who latched onto a pass from Nigerian youngster Iwobi and blasted past the keeper from 14 yards to make it 1-1 on the night.
Arsenal substitute Olivier Giroud and PSG midfielder Olivier Giroud picked up red cards for an off the ball incident. Arsene Wenger slowed the tempo of the game as he brought in Egyptian Elneny for Ozil to help the Gunners tighten up and it worked as they escaped a first defeat in France.
