Manchester United legend Dimitar Berbatov has returned to Old Trafford to train under Jose Mourinho and build up his fitness level.

Berbatov is a free agent and wants new club as Red Devils allow him to reach his physical peak back at Carrington.

Berbatov reportedly traveled to London on Wednesday along with some of his close friends before they headed up to Manchester.

The former Premier League star will spend his time at Carrington not only building up his fitness but also watching Mourinho at work, as he considers a future in coaching, according to Bulgarian outlet Sportal.bg.

Berbatov played for Manchester United between 2008 and 2012, scoring 56 times in 149 appearances and winning two Premier Leagues, the League Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
